The Friends of South Park Memorial Garden

You might have wondered who or what is behind the beautiful display of American flags that seems to pop up several times a year during the summer/fall months at the Joyce Kilmer Circle.

The Friends of South Park have been sponsoring the Memorial Garden for several years, and thanks to our generous contributors, the garden gets bigger each year.

For a small donation, you can have a flag displayed in honor of a person or pet in the garden as well as the name of the person/pet being honored on the Memorial Garden sign at the entrance of the Circle.

Flags are displayed one week before and after the following summer/Fall holidays, weather permitting: Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and Veterans Day.

2023 Memorial Garden Honorees
